Hoppity Hop Hop
I love the raw creativity of that title, don't you?
Anyway, it's Friday again and time for the Book Blogger Hop, as hosted by Jennifer over at Crazy-for-Books! Take a minute to visit her site, link to your blog, and discover other book blogs through the power of Mr. Linky!
Thanks for dropping by Audible Candy, :] I review audiobooks and short story podcasts in a variety of genres (though my personal favourites are classics and other public domain works, and speculative fiction - fantasy, science fiction, and horror of the Gothic persuasion). I've been at this blogging venture for about two weeks now and have fallen into eternal wonder with all the literary discussions and activity throughout the blogdom. Check out my sidebar for some of my favourite blogs!
Today's blog hop question is: "Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?"
I sometimes listen to music, but I've discovered that my tolerance for it has fallen severely since my extreme youth. For instance, I find it difficult to listen to music with lyrics, or whose volume is above a murmur, unless I am either 1) utterly engrossed in my reading or 2) listening to Josh Groban or Sixpence None the Richer. My favourite artists for general literary listening are Enya and Secret Garden. If I'm feeling especially adventurous, I'll listen to Sleepthief and E. S. Posthumous. Links go to all my favourite songs, as heard on YouTube.
Thanks for stopping by!
